Blue Moon Brands is a small, budding branding company that specializes in collaborating with small businesses. Because this company was starting completely new, one of my first tasks was to create a logo. The president of the company described the culture as professional and straightforward, but with the compassion and service of a family owned business. I made sure to reflect the company culture in this logo.
Designed for a small contracting firm. For this logo, I wanted to stray away from using typical tropes of clear blue skies (clouds, sunlight, etc) and focus on creating something that not only represents the company name, but shows that this is a brand that creates solutions by straying away from the typical. I came up with the kite because, although it's an activity typically done during blue skies, it's not the first image that comes to mind.
Made for a local bakery, I wanted to give Muffin' Et Al. a fun twist on a typical bakery logo. I used a round format to mimic the round stickers found on pastry boxes, with fun bright colors give a straight-out-of-a-storybook feel.
